We are happy to wrap up 2014 and eager for 2015! And speaking of 2015, we’re pleased to be able to tell you that Dr. Carver Mead—inventor of the integrated circuit and GaAS MESFET, biotech entrepreneur, winner of the Lemelson-MIT prize, and holder of the National Medal of Technology—will join us at “Biotech and Beyond,” February 24-25, 2015 to speak on "The Universe and Us: An Integrated Theory of Electromagnetics and Gravitation.” He’ll introduce what he says is a “simpler, more intuitive” understanding of the Theory of General Relativity--a unified theory of gravitation and electromagnetism "in which the two interactions are of exactly the same form, but of the opposite sign."
