| In his role as CIO, Mr. Rob Carter is responsible for FedEx's key applications and technology infrastructure. Mr. Carter is also responsible for customer service at FedEx and was recently named chairman of FedEx Kinko's. Rob joined FedEx in 1993. He has more than 25 years of systems development and implementation experience utilizing a wide variety of technology. His professional awards include: Information Week Chief of the Year Award (2000, 2001, 2005); Network World's 25 Most Powerful People in Networking (2001, 2005); CIO Magazine 100 Award (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004); CIO Magazine 20/20 Vision Award (2002); Business 2.0 "20 Rising Executives" (2002), ComputerWorld Premier 100 (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004); Salomon Smith Barney CIO of the Year Award (2001); and InfoWorld Chief Technology Officer of the Year (2000). | Ms. Robin Chase is founder and CEO of Meadow Networks, a consulting group that applies wireless technologies to the transportation sector, reducing dependency on fossil fuel, minimizing CO2 emissions, and creating more adaptable, resilient, and cost-efficient economies. Ms. Chase is also founder, former chairman, and CEO of Zipcar. Robin lectures widely and has been frequently featured in the major media including the Today Show, The New York Times, National Public Radio, Fast Company, Wired, and Time, as well as in several books on entrepreneurship. She has received many awards, including the Massachusetts Governor's Award for Entrepreneurial Spirit, InfoWorld's Top 100 Innovators of 2001, and has been cited as a Trendsetter by Fast Company in its 2002 Champions of Innovation Award. Over the past year, Ms. DeLorme has been briefing government agencies about the spatial future, and introducing DeLorme's new world atlas to military users. As owner and CEO of Earthmate.com, Brook has set up an Internet-based supply house for mapping software and GPS. Earthmate is the supplier and information source for DeLorme GPS products, including the Earthmate Blue Logger GPS and the Earthmate USB Laptop GPS. After being educated in the arts and working as a designer, she entered the technology field based on an interest in the relationship between humans and technology trends. | |||

| Mr. John Gloekler has over 24 of years experience spanning the semiconductor, software, and consulting industries. G2 Microsystems designs and manufactures integrated circuits for mobile resource management. From 1994 to 2002, Mr. Gloekler held leadership positions within Ernst & Young's supply chain practice, and was a key contributor in developing the practice from its initiation to over 800 people in 2002. As a partner at E&Y, John sold and delivered million dollar supply chain engagements to IBM, Compaq, Cisco, HP, Toshiba, Apple, Samsung, Chiron, and others. Previously, he was vice president of manufacturing for Austek Microsystems, and held various roles at National Semiconductor and Texas Instruments. | |||

| Dr. Chris Kantarjiev designed the delivery scheduling and execution system for Webvan. Dr. Kantarjiev currently works at Oracle Corporation in the distributed database group, where he is trying to extend the notion and operation of a database to The Grid. Previously, Chris was CTO of Unimobile, a company specializing in global wireless data solutions. He also worked at Silicon Graphics, where he built systems to move visual bits around very fast. While at the Computer Science Lab at Xerox PARC, Chris spent time working on various aspects of ubiquitous computing. His stint at Digital Equipment Corporation included work that supported the X Window System, a personal workstation/supercomputer ("Titan"), and the building of the (then) world's fastest TCP-linked PostScript printer. Chris is currently the chair of the Enterprise Grid Alliance Technical Steering Committee. | |||

| Dr. Wolf Kohn is a distinguished mathematician, scientist, and technological pioneer. Dr. Kohn is the co-creator of the mathematical foundations and computational technologies for multiple-agent hybrid control theory, which forms the foundation for Clearsight products. Wolf was a member of the General Motors team that designed the first computer control for automobile engines, and he pioneered the development of declarative control theory and technology with applications in avionics, air traffic control, robotics, and intelligent manufacturing. During his career, he has held key technical and scientific positions with leading organizations such as General Motors, Lockheed Corporation, NASA Johnson Space Center, and Boeing Computer Services. Wolf has won a number of awards, including the Robert E. Gross Award for Technical Excellence from Lockheed, Technical Person of the Year from Clear Lake Technical Societies, numerous technical awards for his work at NASA, and the Engineer of the Year Award while at Boeing. He is the author of more than 100 papers and two books, and he holds two patents with additional patents pending. In addition, Wolf teaches in the field of enterprise control in the department of industrial engineering at the University of Washington. | |||

| Ms. Mitsuko Mizushima has led global teams and a multitude of projects in logistics and supply chain management for over 20 years. Her expertise expands the Fritz Institute's capability to provide best practices from private sector logistics to support the operations of its partners in the humanitarian relief community. The Fritz Institute strengthens the infrastructures of humanitarian relief organizations by mobilizing logistics and technology expertise and resources from the corporate and academic communities. Ms. Mizushima has led the creation of both traditional and online supply chain organizations, processes, and services. Best known for her leadership roles at global transportation and shipping company APL, Mich headed APL Business Logistics Services, a process-driven organization that uses proven, state-of-the art technology to deliver supply chain solutions to global clients. She recently served as CEO of an Internet start-up company that provides supply chain management services over the web. | |||

| Mr. Perry Peterson is the founder and president of the PYXIS Innovation, Inc., and the inventor of the PYXIS data structure. His work in this area began in 1985 while searching for a universal data structure that would provide ideal coding for spatial data analysis and modeling. Mr. Peterson has had an active life in a wide range of design and management roles, including heavy construction, land development, water resources, municipal GIS, geomatics, and intricate software developments and architectures. Perry is a qualified geodesist with the Ontario Provincial Government and has completed and consulted on many high precision and engineering surveys. He served as a pilot in the Canadian Military. In 1986, Perry worked to develop the first breakline land surveys for automating terrain models. In 1991, he designed the first use of digital ortho photos as a base to a GIS for the Department of National Defence. Perry has founded and run several successful companies in the fields of engineering and information technology. He is also an adjunct professor lecturing on engineering and information technology at St. Lawrence and Loyalist Colleges. His work was recognized in 1988 by the Canadian Society for Civil Engineers. | |||

| For the last decade, Mr. Robert Poor has been creating the technologies, standards, and companies that drive "The Internet of Things." At the MIT Media Laboratory, Mr. Poor coined the phrase "wireless embedded networking" to describe his research in low-power, low-overhead wireless networked systems. In 2001, Rob co-founded Ember Corporation to commercialize this new class of wireless network, optimized for control and sensing applications. He also became an active participant in the IEEE 802.15.4 standards process and was founding director of the Wireless Industrial Network Alliance. In 2005, Rob left Ember to found Adozu, Inc, a company building "asset awareness" systems for wireless sensing, real-time location, and tracking physical goods. Previously, he held positions at Stanford University's Artificial Intelligence project, Lucafilm's Pixar precursor, and NeXT. | |||

| Mr. Jed Rice is responsible for identifying and creating new market opportunities for Skyhook's Wi-Fi positioning technology while solidifying the company's position as the only commercial-grade WiFi positioning system capable of supporting a broad range of location-based services. Mr. Rice is also responsible for launching and managing Loki, the first "mass-consumer" location-based service, an auto-location aware Internet search and navigation application. Prior to joining Skyhook, Jed created, launched, and led the Self-Service OnDemand initiative at Siebel Systems, where he successfully managed a team that closed the largest OnDemand contract in the company's history. He joined Siebel as part of the acquisition of Edocs. As director of business development of Edocs, Jed established and managed the strategic relationship with Siebel which eventually led to its acquisition. He also led Edocs' entry into the public sector market and was responsible for managing strategic OEM, reseller, and systems integrator relationships. Jed also served as a corporate attorney with a nationally recognized law firm serving the high-tech and VC communities. While practicing law, he was involved with and led a wide-range of strategic transactions to include VC financings, M&A deals, IPOs, and technology licensing relationships. | |||

| Mr. Roy Russell is founding CTO of Zipcar, and has over 25 years of experience in engineering and R&D management. Mr. Russell led the development of all the technology through Zipcar's first six years of growth. Prior to joining Zipcar, Roy was the development manager in the Healthcare Solutions Group at Lernout and Hauspie, responsible for leading development of large scalable automatic speech recognition systems for medical dictation. He also managed development of many of the commercial shrink-wrapped products such as Voice Express. While at L&H, Roy established and built several development, QA, research, and localization teams. Before that, he was director of sofware develompent for Kurzweil AI, where he managed commercial products, including several award-winning speech recognition consumer products. | |||

| Dr. Funda Sahin's teaching and research interests are in operations and supply chain management, logistics and transportation, e-Business, inventory planning and control, and information intensive supply chain management. As a research associate for the Information Systems Consortium for Supply Chain Integration at the Thomas A. Read Center, Texas A&M University, Dr. Sahin conducted applied research on distribution network optimization and the distributor's role as a data manager. Funda also served as a member of the research team studying the MRE supply chain for the Combat Rations Network under the Department of Defense. She has published numerous papers in Decision Sciences and Production & Inventory Management. She is a member of and regularly presents at the Decision Sciences Institute, the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences, the Production and Operations Management Society, and Association for Operations Management. | |||
