Please see our weekly newsletter collection below. Our own staff and members contribute bits and bytes of interesting news and articles. They say that futurists make funny historians but we do our best to bridge that divide by illustrating our past themes and speakers as they develop and evolve. We hope that you enjoy reading these communications as much as we enjoy creating them for you. And if you have any news to share, please contact any member of our staff.
We are happy to wrap up 2014 and eager for 2015! And speaking of 2015, we’re pleased to be able to tell you that Dr. Carver Mead—inventor of the integrated circuit and GaAS MESFET, biotech entrepreneur, winner of the Lemelson-MIT prize, and holder of the National Medal of Technology—will join us at “Biotech and Beyond,” February 24-25, 2015 to speak on "The Universe and Us: An Integrated Theory of Electromagnetics and Gravitation.” He’ll introduce what he says is a “simpler, more intuitive” understanding of the Theory of General Relativity--a unified theory of gravitation and electromagnetism "in which the two interactions are of exactly the same form, but of the opposite sign."
When it comes to BIG THINKING, it doesn’t get much bigger than Carver Mead please register soon: https://www.ttivanguard.com/conference/confreg_biotech.html
Don’t forget that Advisory Board Member Eric Haseltine has 2 Regional Breakfast Meetings scheduled for Boston on January 20 and Washington, DC on January 21. In both cities, we’ll begin with breakfast at 8 am and then have a discussion from 8:30 until 10:30 am. “Ten Myths of Cyber Security” is too important to miss so please do mark your calendar and invite your colleagues: http://www.ttivanguard.com/local/Boston012015_DC012215.cfm

Occasionally, we post a session on YouTube and the recent Eric Cheng/Mike Hawley discussion and drone demo from [next] 2014 is up now: http://youtu.be/RMBpSY5IXdQ. If a DJI Phantom isn’t yet on your holiday wish list, it will be after you watch this session!

We’ll be back in early January with more TTI/Vanguard news. In the meantime, we wish each of you a safe and happy holiday season.
